How to use Chord Explorer
- Pick a root note (C, C#, D…) on the keyboard.
- Choose a chord quality (major, minor, 7th…) or a scale.
- Click Play to hear the chord, or step through it as an arpeggio.
- Tap individual piano keys to hear single notes and see intervals.
Frequently asked questions
- Which chord qualities are supported?
- Major, minor, dominant 7, major 7, minor 7, diminished, augmented, sus2, sus4, and common extensions.
- Does it show intervals?
- Yes. Highlighted keys are labelled with note names and interval numbers (1, 3, 5, ♭7, etc.).
- Can I export or share a chord?
- Not yet — Chord Explorer is intentionally tiny. Use it for ear-and-finger memory, then transfer to your instrument.
