How to use Chord Explorer

  1. Pick a root note (C, C#, D…) on the keyboard.
  2. Choose a chord quality (major, minor, 7th…) or a scale.
  3. Click Play to hear the chord, or step through it as an arpeggio.
  4. Tap individual piano keys to hear single notes and see intervals.

Frequently asked questions

Which chord qualities are supported?
Major, minor, dominant 7, major 7, minor 7, diminished, augmented, sus2, sus4, and common extensions.
Does it show intervals?
Yes. Highlighted keys are labelled with note names and interval numbers (1, 3, 5, ♭7, etc.).
Can I export or share a chord?
Not yet — Chord Explorer is intentionally tiny. Use it for ear-and-finger memory, then transfer to your instrument.
